An Intriguing Tale Of Being An Owner

Daylight Savings started today.. so we gained an hour.. it’s only 8.55am now.. instead of 9.55am.. suxs..!! that means.. dark will come only too soon..

Just wanted to let everyone know … We’ve moved..!!!! Very happy..!!! But gonna be a few tiring days.. firstly .. the unpacking..and secondly.. chloe needs time to get use to the new place.. and she might take a few nites.. before she could sleep properly…
But that’s alright.. it’s a small price to pay..for such a beautiful house..

Chloe did something new today.. she learnt to give us the things she is carrying in her hand.. and we didn’t even teach her.. she just did it herself… AMAZING..!!!
And when her daddy didn’t open his hand fast enough… Chloe forced open her daddy’s palm.. and put the towel into his hand.
She is so funny.. and smart..!!

We finally got the keys to the new house..!! Yippeee!! Can’t wait to move now.. !! Very, very excited..!!!

Yesterday was a hectic day.. a rush to get ready for the lawyer’s office… since i needed to shower.. and da-da was great.. helped to feed chloe lunch .. without needing me to ask him.. so that was a great relief. Lawyers appt was pushed back 30mins.. but Mr Martin Pink from Pink, Nickerson and Star.. the best law firm in town was great. Anyhow.. we found out that i need not be at the lawyer’s office.. so was kinda embarrassing due to the reason why i need not be there at all.
We headed back to the store after the lawyer’s office.. and met a guy who stopped my spouse for a job on the street.. with G.. a girl who used to work for us… when i first came to Canada. She was fired by us because she never turn up for work when she was scheduled and comes up with some ridiculous reasons all times. Anyhow.. G is another story.
My MIL came by the store after her line dancing .. so that she can look after Chloe .. so that we can pack. But da-da had to be at the new house.. for a home inspection by a home inspector.. we had hired .. just to make sure.. that our house is fit to stay in. So we are 350bucks poorer after 3 hrs. Home inspection went well.
Didn’t get much packed.. coz’ my MIL was tired..and was dozing off in the rocking chair.. and i was afraid.. that chloe may be up to her mischief.. while she is dozing off.
After my MIL left for bingo.. i put chloe down for a nap. And da-da came home with KFC.. it was Toonie Tuesday.. Two pieces of chicken and fries for 2 bucks. Hated the chicken tonite.
Then Da-da went to Zellers to clean out the new game that just came out.. so that we can re-sell it.. in the store.. since we were getting only 18 copies.. from our supplier.
Then i made JH our insurance man/friend from Vaughn Assurance come by to finish the signing of the insurance papers for the new house.. coz’ he was leaving for Halifax the next day .. till Saturday.
After he left.. i realised that Chloe had no food left.. and i wanted tofu.. so we headed for Superstore at 9pm… chloe was kinda cranky by then.. coz’ she wanted to be home.. and sleep i guess.
Anyhow.. at 10pm we came home.. and Chloe didn’t wanna sleep.. till almost 11.30pm.. and woke up at 1.30am.. for a snack.. and hugging.. and woke up again at 7.15am.. for another snack.. and more hugging.. and when i mean snack.. she only had 2 ozs of milk each time.
I didn’t go back to bed.. so that i can do the bottles .. and get a cup of tea.. and use the bathroom… and catch up on my reading.. and writing.
And Chloe walked some more yesterday..and stood up on her own.. without any help from the furnitures or us. Woo Hoo.. another first for Chloe.

SNAG – Sensitive New Age Guy

My spouse is kinda SNAG. He does help alot .. when necessary… and is very sensitive.. when it comes to my emotions.. and some stuff.. but i still want him to get off his lazy butt… hahahah!! i bet his mom don’t agree with me..!! Sometimes i think i should just count my blessings.. but if there is a way .. why not..??!!?? hehehe!!
So how does one get your man off his lazy butt..??? and not having to nag at him and sound like his mom..?? Ooops.. hmmmm.. maybe not.. coz’ his mom never nags.. when it comes to cleaning.. hahah!! And if you know Chris’s mom .. you’ll understand wat i mean. She is easy-going and definitely not as crazy or paranoid as i am.

So folks.. if anyone has the perfect remedy.. pray tell. I’ve tried everything in my book of tricks.

Our day started early.. but we got enough rest.. since Chloe slept till 9am.. and we went to bed at 2am.. and i slept almost immediately.
Chloe was fed on schedule.. and we had pizza for lunch.. and braised mushroom wanton noodle for me… for dinner.. and daddy had lasagne.. for breakfast i had smoked salmon sandwich with garlic spread.. while daddy had his usual sandwich with turkey meat.
Dying for a cup of tea right now.. so will continue this..in a min.. Owl brand 3 in 1 tea ..
Chloe took naps .. as per usual.. half hr each.. and walked more. Daddy just left for work. But i was lazy. .and didn’t do much.. except one box of pots and pans.. and threw some clothings into a box. Lazy bum i am.. i admit.

We needed some new furniture for the new house and Sears was having a sale.. so we got some pretty good deals..
Got a stove and a fridge.. and now a leather sofa.. for 500$ less than it’s original price. So pretty good..
No more spending.. and no christmas presents .. my spouse said.. “sob, sob”.

Chloe finally slept at 11.15pm.. while playing on her own.. on the floor… heheh!! we are always amused when she does that.. coz’ we fight so much with her.. to put her to bed..and in the end.. she falls asleep outta exhaustion..on her very own. Anyhow.. after her bath.. da-da took care of her so that i can jump into the shower.. as it was after 9pm already.. so it’s really good.. i always feel good after a shower. Too lazy to do more packing.. gonna try to be more productive tomorrow.. so we hope.

Chloe got her first taste of chocolate ice cream today.. and she loved it.. and wanted more.. was still smacking her lips.. after a long time.

Started packing up the kitchen.. only for an hour.. and already .. i hate packing..!!! How to get the house pack up in 5 days..??? i wonder..!
A miracle is needed here.. hahah!!

Chloe went to bed at about 11pm… last nite. and got up at about 8.15am.. this morning.. not bad at all.. and we had a decent nite.. i think. I just wished we could have been able to go to bed earlier.. but as soon as Chloe goes to bed.. we wanna do some of our own personal stuff.. because you can never do it.. when she is awake.. so we try to get some stuff done when she is sleeping.. and like usual.. we only got to go to bed.. at about 2.30am. But still decent.. since she didn’t wake up every couple of hours.
