An Intriguing Tale Of Being An Owner

My day past by so quickly everyday. From the time i wake up till the time i sleep.. it all seems so short. Everything is a rush for us and revolve fully around Chloe. This little baby must come from a factory call Monsters Inc. I don’t know if we spoil Chloe or if she just wants all our attention.. and i mean full attention. You can’t do anything… when she is awake. She just wants you to carry her all the time!
Luckily my spouse is always with me.. and therefore.. it’s not so overwhelming for me, should i have had a baby back home in Singapore.. where everything is so competitive..that you need to have 2 incomes…. i don’t think i would be so lucky. So i count my blessings everyday.. and hope chloe will get easier everyday.
At least if she goes down and sleep by 10.30am.. and wakes up at 9am tomorrow..that’s good by us. But she never sleeps straight thru’ or like last nite.. only gone to bed at 3.30am.
We love our daughter alot.. but quite traumatic.. and exhausting.. to have to carry her for more than 16hrs a day. On top of all these.. she can get really fussy and cries for no reason..and can be inconsolable too.
So here i go again…. wondering.. how do teenagers and younger woman.. or woman without a spouse help cope with a baby.. and some more than one ..???!!??
I thank God for my daughter.. i would never change it for anything.. not even a trilion dollars.. but it gets a little overwhelming at times.
So once again.. to our grandmothers, mothers, aunts .. i salute you.. !

This is the funniest thing.. my spouse started his packing .. a few days ago.. and when chloe went down for a nap this evening.. he packed some more. Guess wat he found..???!!!??? Heeheheheheh!!! Screws for the mirror.. from 2 yrs ago.. for the dresser. For 2 yrs now.. i never had a proper dresser mirror … because the mirror had to be propped against the wall.
And now that we are moving … he has got the mirror screwed up .. nice and proper… way to go.. hon..!!! Kekekekek!!! Hopefully this time.. we don’t lose the screws.. hehehehehe!!!

My daughter Chloe didn’t wanna go to sleep.. she went to bed at 9pm.. but got up at around 11.30pm..and kept waking up.. till she finally was fully awake at 12.30am.. and it was 3.30am.. before she finally got too tired.. and fell asleep on the floor with me.
So I better go to bed real soon too.

Chicken curry tofu instant noodles. I had this for dinner.. yummy..!! The curry chicken is a can type… that i found at Sobeys.. and tofu were leftover from a few days ago. When i took the picture my food.. my spouse said to me.. “yer right proud of yer food .. eh..???” heheheh!!

Our old house agent is Jamie Macdonald from Future Group Realty. He called the other day.. after we already bid for this new house.. wanting to show us another house. But my spouse told him that we already bid for this new house.. with The Real Estate Store. Jamie was disappointed that we did that since he had been working with us.. to get a new house since early this year. But my spouse explained to him.. that he had to do that.. because usually the house gets sold before we even get a chance to see it. So this time by fluke .. we happened to be actually viewing another house.. when this agent Mike Clayton from The Real Estate Store said.. hey there is this house.. that is only on the market now.. and would you like to view it. We saw.. we liked.. and we decided.. hey.. if we really want a house this year.. we better bid now. So that was the story.
We are truly sorry Jamie.. we understand that you are disappointed.. but we REALLY want to get our house. But thank you very much for everything you’ve done for us.
But yes.. we got our house from Karen Hattie from The Real Estate Store.

Kept on schedule.. and got lots of things done today.. plus feeding chloe in good time too.. to that’s good..
Hopefully our little monster sleeps early.. and let us get some packing done as well.
We went to take another look at the new house.. and do some measurements.. and we really like the new house.. it isn’t as big as this one.. but definitely much better.
We plan to move next week.. after signing more papers with the lawyers ..after the 27th October 2004. The power company has been called.. so had the internet service provider .. phone company.. and everything else.. is minor.. Now waiting for an answer from the moving company.. and we’ll be all set.

I feel better this morning.. coz’ i was Ms Trapafart.. and then Ms Fartalot.. last nite.. hehehe!! Went to bed at about 2.30am.. and only got up at about 6am.. coz’ Chloe was stirring.. but when i got up to check on her.. she went back to sleep, so i didn’t pick her up at all.
She finally did get up.. literally at 8.45am.. so her da-da brought her downstairs.. so that i can continue resting.. which i did till 10.30am.
I had a good breakfast.. while Chloe took her morning nap. And now she is awake and contented .. trying to get ahold of da-da’s remote control.. and reading some flyers.. hehehehe!!

Chloe walked more today for a daddy.. steadying herself really good now… she is gonna be walking alot in no time..!!
I have a really smart baby.. walking at 10mths..!!

We went to the bank this afternoon to finalise the mortgage.. and the lady at the bank was really nice and helpful. When we are all done moving and all.. i am gonna write a letter for these nice and efficient ladies who helped us buy our new home possible.

I was watching out for Maddy’s blog for a week now.. and finally occured to me.. that Maddy and her mom are currently in Taiwan for holiday or family visitation. Silly me..!! thinking that something was wrong… therefore Maddy’s mom didn’t post for a week. Hahaha!!

Grampie came to visit Chloe today.. and to make our house buying possible. Woohoo!! Too bad .. he was late.. and we were heading out to get groceries from Sobeys. But Grampie did carry chloe twice.. although she cried .. heheheh!!

We are still waiting for the closing and paperwork of the new house to be done by the bank.. and the lawyers… and then we can move. We are so excited.. that we don’t know where to start.. i mean.. wat to do.. to move… heheheh!!

We went to bed early… just after midnite.. and by our standard it was early.. hahah!!! Chloe got up at 1.30am.. for a feeding and some screaming.. and got up again at 7.30am… the first time i got up with her.. but the second time.. her daddy did. Her daddy didn’t go back to sleep.. but I did.. and got up at about 9am. I felt tired.. when i got up… but after abit.. didn’t feel so bad… so that was good. And Chloe was fed her cereal early this morning too.. so that was really good.. that means.. lunch will be on schedule.
