Chloe rushed for the refrigerator everytime it is opened.. and tries to grab ahold of watever she can.. and never wanna let go.. so this was the treasure she grabbed last nite.. hehehe!!

I honestly cannot remember wat it’s call now.. but i did remember to take a pic..heheh..!! Corn Taco wrap .. with some kinda chicken.. and salsa..
Unfortunately .. it didn’t go down well in my belly.. i felt kinda lousy.. all day.. after eating it.. so it might be this.. it might be my root beer.. heh!!
PS: My spouse just told me.. it’s call.. chicken taquitoes.. !!

Einstein movies are God sent..!!
We put chloe back on her Einstein movies.. when feeding her.. yes.. coz’ we want it to be easy to feed her.. and don’t want her to cry.. and yes.. we are lazy parents.. we do not wanna sit at the dining table for an hour.. to feed our baby. But watever works.. i guess.. hahah!!!

I had a lovely cream puff and coffee from Tim Hortons’s today.. and i had forgotten to take a picture of the cream puff for all to see..
But the cream puff was lovely… lite and fresh.. yummy..!! Different from the one i was used to back home.. and those from Beard Papa from Hawaii … but nevertheless good..
Next time.. i try not to be so greedy.. and take picture first ok..??!!?? Hehe!!

They add layers of love, care and security… this was written by Sharon Loh.. STI .
When i read this article today…. i think of my own grandparents.. and Chloe’s grandparents. Wat a difference… my grandparents were…. and like Sharon Loh.. I didn’t know mine very well either.. due to the generation gap. My paternal grandmother died .. when I was 9 .. she died of cancer… and my grandfather too passed away.. before i became a adult.
Where i was never closed to both my paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents.. i had told my in-laws that i want Chloe to know her grandparents .. and have a good relationship with them and to be loved by them.. like i’ve never experience. It was a very sad thing for me… that i’ve never experience any kinda love from both grandparents.
In my in laws .. i can truly say .. that they are treasures. And they do add layers of love, care and security for Chloe. I know that if anything happens to me or my spouse.. my in laws will be the security blanket that chloe will need. And i’m very sure.. that Chloe will be brought up to be a good and useful person.
I thank God for Chloe’s paternal grandparents.. and pray that they will live a long, long life.. to see chloe grow up .. and have her own children..

I’m getting better at bathing chloe these days. I usually don’t do her hair.. unless her da-da is around.. coz’ it’s hard to distract her.. and keep her face dry at the same time. But a few days ago.. i did her hair as well… as we were very busy.. with the store.. and i didn’t wanna wait anymore. Tonite… once again.. i did chloe’s hair. .and bath her.. and chloe was pretty good about the bath.. and very well behaved..
She now loves her bath.. and don’t wanna get outta the water.. and sometimes.. i have to force her out.. coz’ the water was turning cold.
Anyhow.. i am happy .. that i am able to do a full bath for chloe now.. i feel so proud of myself.. heheh!! I feel like a mom now.. hehehe!!

I bought this cream.. coz’ Chloe’s skin was kinda dry.. and dry patches were appearing on her legs and arms. I checked with the pharmist.. and she said..
Aveeno Baby Daily Moisturing Cream with Oatmeal is the best.. althought it’s expensive.. more expensive .. than my own body lotion.. i’m pretty el cheapo..and buy the cheapest.. i’m using.. Jergen’s.. and usually.. i buy it when it’s on sale.. coz’ i use alot of it.. as my skin is always dry… i still bought the best .. for chloe.. coz’ it’s ok.. to be el cheapo with myself.. but if it concerns my daughter.. no el cheaponess..!!

I had wanted to make waldorf salad .. from the fruit basket .. given to us by Roy Andrews the developer.. whom we bought the house from.. but it was too late.. since chloe didn’t wanna stay down and sleep. But anyways … this is my recipe..
And i wanted to make sure. .it turned out well.. since i am gonna make this for our Christmas dinner..
- 2 medium red apples, cored and diced (about 2 cups diced)
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
Add raisins to this Waldorf Salad Recipe if you want.
Combine apples, celery, and walnuts; sprinkle with salt. Add mayonnaise and toss to coat all ingredients. Chill until ready to serve. Serve Waldorf Salad on lettuce or mixed salad greens.
Waldorf Salad serves 4.

The store is doing considerably well.. for weather so shitty like today.. hehe!!
Mortgage is already in the bank. .since the 22nd.. woohoo!! Good da-da..!! *big hugs*..
Chloe has been bathed .. and she have had her dinner already and in her new sleepers from Gerald Leblanc.
I’ve also had dinner.. although .. had hope to watched another chinese movie that my spouse had downloaded for me.. but no such luck. .as chloe took only a short nap..
But i still managed to finished one movie.. Love on the Rocks.. by Gigi Leung.. i think thats her name.
While my spouse is at work.. Chloe is playing beside me.. hanging on to the pepsi bottle .. from Grammie..
She is having great fun with it.. and now.. throwing it into her rubber ducky..
We also learnt from a customer tonite. .that the gas station that was robbed belongs to someone who know too.. CHRIST..!!!

It was shocking to hear from Jenn our store manager this morning. . that someone we knew.. him and his brother.. is wanted by the cops.. for robbing a gas station with a gun.
So.. so sad.. coz’ his brother .. is so different from him.. day and nite. .both of them.. so i really don’t understand.. how it all happened.. it was shocking and sad for me.. anyways.. sad to see such a young man.. ruin his life this way. Shocking coz’ i know him.. and his brother and his sister in law.
Later in the evening.. my spouse when on his way to work.. told me .. that he heard over the radio. that he was arrested.. he tried to get a lady in a church to give him her keys.. and she shouted.. and ppl that were there subdue him.. and waited for the cops to arrive.
This is a really gray Thursday.

I got 10hrs of sleep.. as Chloe didn’t wake up 4 nites in a row..!! woo hoo..!! and da-da woke up with Chloe in the morning.. and took an hour and 30mins nap at 11am.. just like yesterday.. woo hoo..!!
I had breakfast.. i had lunch.. and it’s raining now.. and i feel lazy.. ! Ha!!!

I’m elated .. coz’ i am caught up with my reading.. and my sleep..
Been able to read all my favourite blogs.. and online papers from home… all over the world.. since last week was abit of a boo-boo…!!
And i am caught up with my sleep too..coz’ for the last few nites.. i’ve been good.. and sleeping just after midnite.. woohoo..!!
And Chloe is still napping.. and i’m done having lunch.. more woo hoo..!!! I had bbq chicken wings.. with spaghetti and two oven toasted garlic bread..
and half a glass of pop..
Now a fruit or two.. will do well with my diet..

I was dancing with my daughter in the kitchen this morning.. and this was wat i tot… had i not given up everything in Singapore.. i would not be experiencing this joy.. at all..

Had i not given up everything in Singapore… i wouldn’t have known.. that watever hiccups we are facing at work.. is nothing compared to wat i had to face.. when i was working in Singapore.. coz’ i know.. with the stressfulness of my job in singapore.. i could never bear a beautiful daughter.. even my gynae said that..
So yes.. they joy of motherhood is priceless..!
