An Intriguing Tale Of Being An Owner

The snow outside of our house. We even lost our power for abit.. this morning. We are very lucky to get it back so soon.. coz’ Nova Scotia’ s powerline said.. it would only be by 6pm.

Finished watching Napoleon Dynamite.. it’s not too bad a show actually… but i wouldn’t watch it again. And i’m halfway thru’ House of Flying Daggers.… recommended by Dennis of Asian Vegan… so far i liked it.. coz’ it has got my favourite actor.. andy lau.

We are expecting a big storm coming our way..
I hope not though.. i hope it misses us.. like always.. ! Up in halifax.. they are getting a blizzard warning.
I hate it when the weather turns bad. And at the moment. .it’s snowing real hard..

We always go up to Briar’s lake on boxing day.. it’s a family tradition.. Big dinner.. with loads of food.. and good company. My MIL comes from a huge family.. and therefore… chloe got loads of aunts and uncles.. and grandaunts and granduncles..
It was a lovely dinner as usual.. and the house was filled with children’s laughter.. and those of the adults..
Dinner is hosted by Real.. and Renette.. and they are the best host ever.. We had more turkey.. and more of the usual.. and more dessert . I’m stuffed.. by the time i left..

My spouse and FIL wished that we had a white Christmas.. but no such luck.. it was like spring .. on Christmas morning.. hahhaha!!! I like this kinda Christmas though.. so i didn’t complained.
We had a lovely morning… we dropped in at Gerald & Adele’s .. to give Sarah her present.. we had been so busy at the store.. we had no time to do it earlier.. And we stayed longer than we had expected. Afterwhich .. we went to Grammie’s for Christmas dinner of turkey & potatoes and carrots and peas.. and loads of dessert. And then it was opening presents time.
This year.. the most creative & innovative gift goes to Uncle Richie.. Wait till you see wat he got for us. I will post pic of it later..
Lots of presents.. as usual.. from my in laws.. I got my sandwich maker.. bedsheets.. socks.. Chloe got lots too.. snow boots.. booties.. clothes.. toys.. and money.. My spouse got lots too.. as per usual.. My in-law’s christmas tree is always filled with goodies during christmas day..
We gave my MIL .. a computer desk… her favourite pepsi… scented candles.. and a book. My FIL got a boots.. vodka.. and beer.. And Uncle richie got a quilted shirt …. and a box of beer.. We had a really good christmas this year..
Thank you everyone.. for showering us with so much gifts..

Off to Hectanooga we go… it’s a yearly ritual that we do.. with the family.. We go to my spouse’s godma house for a gathering. My MIL had to miss it last year.. because we just had chloe.. so this year.. we are definitely going.. with her. Rappie Pie is a big thing here .. to the Acadian French.. and my MIL’s family are all Acadian French.
I hear there is a big storm coming.. i hope we don’t get caught in the storm.
And i promise i will post all about christmas .. once all these is over and post pictures of Rappie pie.

Just finished watching this movie ….. Hilarious..!!!! I love it..!!! Everyone gotta watch it… !!! The funniest part was when the horny dog “humping” the approved toys.. heheheh!!! Reminded me of Kim and Shaolin Tiger… heheh!!! Hey.. not in a bad way ok..!!! Just that they were going on about Kim.. being humpable..heh!!

Chaz… Jody & Jay’s pride and joy. Chaz is so smart and friendly… he said.. he is gonna look out for Chloe.. when he is older.. Isn’t tat sweet or wat..???!!!?? Hehehe!! I hope Chloe grows up and be like Chaz… he is just so loveable..
