Same Sex Marriages

There has been alot of boo-ha lately about same sex marriages… within the community here in Canada. Everyone is into it.. and have an opinion about it.. the churches.. the government.. the municipality.. just about everyone .. who is someone.
Now my opinion on same sex marriage.. is …. why the big boo-ha…???!!!??? Let whoever wants to marry whoever be…!!!! If God thinks that it’s wrong.. He will send them to Hell.. or something. What makes it right for another person to dictate .. what another person want..???!!!?? or can have.. or can do.. with their personal life right..???
I mean.. it’s not as if they are committing murder or something..! or being dishonest.. or hurting another person. So my opinion is this.. leave them alone.. and let them be!!!

    yeah I think same-sex marriage should be allowed. I mean if the President of the US can declare war anytime he wants, why can’t simple acts of love be approved? in fact, why does it even need approval as u put it.
    just watched Black Hawk Down on tv a couple nights ago and it made me angry to think about the stupid war he declared hence my off-tangent rant. heh.

    i’m glad that someone feels the same way as i do. I can’t imagine .. why ppl donch just go find something more important to do.. then to debate .. and waste time and money.. on something so irrelevant..! How can same sex marriage affect anyone or anything..??? it’s just like in the 50s where they didn’t allow the black to be with a white woman.. and vice-versa..! so ridiculous..!!! As for the US President..!!! donch you even start me on that..!!!! I think he is crazy.. and because of him.. the economy in the whole world is affected.. in one way or another..!

    Donch get me wrong.. i’m not for or against it.. but i just feel that ppl should mind their own business or go on and do some useful things instead of harrassing the poor gay community… !! Leave them alone..!! Let them do wat they want.. !! Isn’t there something the government.. or some arty farty old fart can do..???

    but mrs T. they will have to fight for this one with the support of other straight and sensible people like us. i know a couple of couples like this. they have been staying together forever. much better relationship duration and endurance record than others around me. but if one is dying at the hospital, the other can even go visit because they are not legally a couple… and all the money the other person has will go into public property… things like that.

I think marriage bans based on gender have the same logic as bans based on race. They are an external, cultural determination. Unions are based between human beings. If the human beings are the same gender, they still should have access to the same benefits as different gendered couples. My two cents ;)
