Blizzard warning for
Yarmouth county issued
15 to 25 centimetres of snow accompanied by strong northerly winds gusting up to 80 km/h are expected to develop Friday morning.

A low pressure system is forecast to intensify rapidly tonight as it moves of the american east coast to pass just south of Nova Scotia during the day Friday. So far indications are that near 15 centimetres of snow will fall over northern regions with up to 25 centimetres expected along the atlantic coast. Winds gusting up to 80 km/h will develop by midday resulting in blizzard conditions.
