Love Actually
I read a review on this movie at Bochup’s Blog. Gracie had said she loved this movie, so i tried watching it a few days ago… but i realised that i had tried watching this movie months ago.. and never really gotten into it. And this time round, i still couldn’t get into it. I watched it at the store .. and nope.. couldn’t get into it. Watched it at home.. and still nope.. couldn’t get into it still. So today.. in between feeding chloe her meals..and cooking and hanging out with Chloe .. i FINISHED watching it. Did i liked it..?? Hmmmm.. it wasn’t a bad movie at all.. but very romantic …. very corny.. very unreal for my liking..! ok.. donch shoot me ok…!! Just my personal opinion.. and donch get me wrong.. i love a chick flick.. and romantic movies.. but Love Actually …. in this movie.. i can’t really say… i can see it happening.. to just anyone. Sure you might say.. Oh Well..!! it’s just a movie. Well it is.. but i also wanna be realistic about it. I have mixed feelings for this movie.. i wanna believe that things can happen.. but in reality… things do not happen this way..?? i don’t think anyways.. but i might be wrong.. and i’m already saying too much.. and too opiniated for just a movie. Hahha!
Verdict : Watch it .. have fun.. and DO not be skeptical as I was.

You are so lucky to watch so many movies. I hate to start one because mid way I have to do so many things for Matthew. He is into this habit of asking me to go around the house carrying him so that he can see what’s above the fridge, in the freezer, top of cabinets. You get what I mean? You will be used a Chloe’s legs soon too, I think.
So, I had been reading and absorbing what you reviewed, hoping I would get around to watch them. I have the DVD of most movies here. *ahaks* you know what la.

I love that movie, though at first I thought it a bit stark and disgusting…but then after it has sunk in – gosh, British humour is a scream!

what a luxury that you could watch all these titles without going to the theater. my only entertainment is flipping channels.

Hey.. Lilian,
I know what you mean.. about having to stop a few times.. just to finish watching the movie. We do that too.. all the time.. but we always try and finish the ones we start. So if you see me doing the review for certain movie.. it does not mean.. that i had watched it recently but only meant.. we had just finished watching it.
Hey .. DBW,
Great you love the movie. !!
Hey..Min,
The priviledge and perks of owning your own video store.. hehehe!!

hey MrsT glad u finally finished the movie. Yah it’s a little unrealistic for most of the mini stories but amusing/heartwarming nevertheless. I loved Mr Bean’s cameo in the movie. =D

emm…I like this movie, but the prime minister and the assistant’s affair really a bit corny.

Hmm, I felt the same when I watched it too, Mrs T. I thought it was too good to be true… Too unrealistic, makes me believe in things which are less bound to happen in real life!:(
