Business Acumen..??
Is it something you have in you already.. or you have to go for courses .. and courses.. and studies for it..??
Good business acumen doesn’t come easily or freely, one learn thru’ alot of mistakes.. trial and error. Money lost and alot of heartache.. and alot of chest pounding (not literally) .. but you get the picture right..? We have just celebrated our 8 yrs in business this weekend… with lucky draws.. and a huge sale. I’ve been here for almost 7 yrs. And what have i learned..??
That family is very important..! that ppl are not always honest..! that we should not mixed business with pleasure..! That the more someone wants to sell of their stuff for little to no money.. it’s stolen. That saying “no” is the first thing you have to learn in any kinda business. Be nice to your customers.. but do not get personal.. most take advantage of you except for 3 ppl i know in this town that doesn’t. The employees are always right .. and if they are wrong.. it’s not their fault.. you are just a bad boss. What about you ..?? those out there who have their own business..?? what is your take on business acumen..??
