Shortage of Doctors In Canada

I’ve always known that Nova Scotia is very short of doctors.. but didn’t think that the world of Canada will face a worsening shortage of doctors over the next decade unless governments put more resources into medical schools. I’ve often wonder why they are not recruiting doctors from Asia.. to only find out that you have to go thru’ some test to become one in Canada. Plus I am also guessing which doctor would leave the comfort of home.. as in Asia.. to come to this “ulu” town right..??

The doctors here charges exorbitant prices.. even the dentist does..! $900 for a root canal..! crazy or not..?? Here in Canada.. no need for the dentist to give your teeth a good cleaning.. they have a hygienist to do that. Yup.. charges the same as the dentist.. and newly graduate.. but yes.. she earns a good 60 bucks.. each time.. you get your teeth cleaned.

Messy Garage

Seriously, our garage is so messy, we really need to work on it and it’s in our agenda for our next project. Besides the car, we store all sorts of things in the garage, from things we never use, to things we use for repairing stuff around the house. You know how it is .. it is so easy to mess up the garage.. and leave everything there.

It would really be nice to get some professional garage storage equipment for our garage, just so we wouldn’t be ashamed to show off our garage or when someone walks into our garage, we don’t have to make excuses for the mess. I think the only way to motivate the man is to get some stainless steel wall mounted cabinets.  Time to go for some shopping now.

What would one do now.. without the internet..?? Some 20 years ago, when my company’s chief engineer was writing software program for our office and using the dot matrix printer, never did I think that it is gonna be such a big thing that one can prompt a web campaign to try and stop a strike with the public transit in Halifax and the municipal leaders in Halifax.

More than 550 bus drivers, ferry operators and other Metro Transit workers are set to walk off the job Monday over wages and work schedules.

Canada Got High Risk Men Around

Every week i read about some dangerous men let out of prison.. and still considered high risk.. yet they may be your neighbour.. may be the guy who went to the same grocery store as you. Or even the guy who is sitting beside your kid in a barber shop.

So again .. my question is .. (i’ve become problematic kid ever since coming to Canada.. since I ask alot of WHYs questions), why are these HIGH RISK ppl out in the open.. and roaming around free.. when you know they are gonna snap at anytime..??

In Singapore .. we have such a thing call deterrent sentencing, the law can keep you in jail with no release date .. till they are convinced that you are fully reformed. And yes.. it’s the truth.. I know so.. because i studied abit of law during my universities years.

Giving a HIGH RISK man a curfew is not gonna stop him from committing crimes. Yer gotta be kidding me if you think so..!

Weak Hand

I think i’ve hurt myself.. but i donch know how i managed to do it. My wrist hurt alot.. and i can’t seem to even turn the door knob yesterday. And no..  i promised it is not from writing paid post.. muahhahaha!!

So cooking for Chloe was really hard. I was telling PB .. getting hurt any part on our body can be a real bitch.. so I try not hurt myself really hard.. but still accidents do happen.. and i think i hurt myself.. because of sleeping. Bummer..! Have you had such an experience..??

BGR are a BITCH!

You know when you are younger.. we all go thru’ the same thing with boy/gal relationships.. where we think that the person we are with is the be all. . and is all. How wrong were we then eh..??  Truly if i could turn the clock back.. i would have it rather differently. Hack care about the boys. .and concentrate on my studies.. and reach the top even faster.

I guess i’m so pissed because you all know we love our babysitter, Keegan alot… and to see her constantly struggle in her BGR with her current beau .. well.. it isn’t a good feeling.  I’m sorry to say it.. but Keegan is too good for this kid..!  she is always the giving party.. and the more she gives.. we all know what is gonna happen right..?? afterall, you and I have been thru’ the same before.  But I know .. no amount of talking to.. will change her mind.. and mind you .. she never said a bad word about her beau to me.. i just picked it up from those conversations she have had with him.   And certainly am more experienced to know what is going on.

But i know that 20 yrs from now.. Keegan is gonna look back .. and wonder what she saw in those boys/kids..!

Pink For Anti-Bullying Day

Stand up Against Bullying Day is on the second Thursday of the school year. One day every year students in Nova Scotia are encouraged to wear pink to send an anti-bullying message.

Actions by two Annapolis Valley students (an hour from where I am) rallied around a younger student after he was bullied for wearing a pink polo shirt. Making the difference are two students, David Shepherd and Travis Price, Grade 12 students who inspired students around Nova Scotia to wear pink to show that bullying will not be tolerated. Buying 50 pink shirts from a discount store, they emailed classmates to get them to come on board with them. The next day, hundreds of students showed up wearing pink clothings. I bet that was an overwhelming sight.

It is kids like David and Travis who gives me hope .. that Nova Scotia can still be called home and that there is a future here for my daughter.

Desperation Time, Refugees are Willing to Believe Anything

Mexicans arriving in Windsor, Ontario in droves said. they were forced to leave U.S. because they were illegal immigrants there. Folks who donch know, please note that refugee status are very hard to obtain in Canada, the odds are not good at all. Very, very few are successful in claiming refugee status in Canada. So if you have friends or relatives from anywheres .. coming into Canada.. and trying to stay in Canada.. without the proper papers, you have to let them know that.. you cannot buy resident status .. nor is the chances good, if you do not have proper status already in U.S.

Orangutans are native to the forest of Malaysia and Indonesia. They have no tail.. and almost represents a human being without its reddish brown coat and long arms. Oxygen & Pulse Rate

My buddy online is a health freak .. exercising on a daily basis or else she wouldn’t be happy at all. You really have to admire her.. for her persistent on keeping healthy and eating healthy because not many people can do it, it sure takes alot of determination and discipline to do it regularly. And she even have a pulse oximeter so that she can check her pulse and oxygen rate everytime she is done exercising. Now that’s what i call dedication to staying healthy.

Scary Experience

I had quite a scary experience at about midnite.. last nite.. because PB got really sick .. and had to go to the hospital on his own. All sorts of things ran thru’ my mind last nite.. because.. I am quite handicapped without him. We got to work together.. we go home together.. we do everything together. So what was I gonna do if he was hospitalized..??

I put up a brave front.. and i’m sure he did too… because after finding out that he had kidney stones.. which according to the doctor is comparable to a woman giving birth… you can imagine what bitch the pain was. It happened so suddenly and so quickly.. we didn’t know what it was ..nor how to react to it.

He is feeling alot better now.. and yes..we did open the store today.. and he is out on a housecall right now.. but sure doesn’t stop me from thinking .. how i could have helped in that situation..and what would i have done.. if he was hospitalized. I think i need an action plan..! This scary experience sure made me really worried man..!! in a country .. where you are all alone.. without your own friends.. and family… sure isn’t such a beautiful picture .. for those thinking of migrating eh..??

I Think Its The Waters Here

I swear ppl in this town got no shame at all..! This fella owes us MONEY from 6yrs ago.. for bringing a few games he rented from us a month late and refuses to pay up. But everytime, we have a new employee at the store, he would try and scam the new employee by setting up a new account to rent again.

Time and again, when he comes into our store, i show him my “blackest” face and still he doesn’t get the hint..?? I wouldn’t mind so much that he comes in .. if he didn’t try to scam those poor new employees… I wouldn’t mind it so much if he didn’t have money to pay up .. but he has a good job.. fixing the hospital’s computers .. but boy ! is he a real scammer. I wouldn’t mind it so much.. if he was good looking.. but he is a “botak” head.

To me.. he might as well be dead.. so low class .. like my grandmother would say.. and spit on his face.. if she was alive.
