Yet the court feels alright to release him to the society. Making him sign some stuff on papers, is not gonna stop him from committing more crimes.. and hurt someone again.

Donch get me wrong, i am all for giving someone a second chance and turning over a new leaf and stuff. I know it is possible for some ppl.. and some ppl are genuinely changed.. when they go into prison.. but for a rapist like Moore, no way is he gonna change. Sex offenders are like compulsive gamblers. Show me a gambler with his fingers cut off.. then i’ll believe that he will changed. Or a dick chopped off for a sex-offender..!

For those who don’t know.. we owned a Computer & Entertainment Store for the last 8 yrs and a bit. The Entertainment derives from the fact that we rent movies, trade, sell and buy console games and systems .. and pretty much everything.. from printer to its ink .. and anything that makes money.

Recently, we embarked in some new products .. but we are unable to announce it right now.. because we have bigger things planned for this product.

If you haven’t been to PB’s blog.. go right ahead and visit.. because i’ll tell you this.. even though he just started blogging.. he is alot better in writing.. and expressing himself.. than I am. On top of it.. if he is in a good mood.. you will catch some funny reading as well. Nope.. he does diss .. he doesn’t bitch and he definitely doesn’t pimp himself enough.. not like some blogger does.. at every darn sec they get.. to the point of irritation.

Anyone who loves food like I do, will know that reviews don’t by magazines or reputable organization have to be taken with a pinch of salt. I have nothing against them, but if you are paid for doing a review, you tend to say only the nicest things.. and I know there are times where I was absolutely disappointed with a eating establishment. And the reviews that i’ve read were far from what I was experiencing.

If you are looking out for good dining for any London restaurants you may want to look for real reviews from real people like you and I. A community that you and I can give opinions as well.  No flowery words, just real good food recommendations.

It’s amazing how one can be alot more concerned and aware of the things surrounding you after you leave the comforts of your hometown.  To be honest with you, I was never so passionate about whats going on around the world when I was in Singapore but after coming to Canada, things changed alot.  I craved alot at first for news from home… and after started blogging in 2003, I am more aware of the surround neighbours in Asia.

It is these few years.. that i’m alot more concern about what is going on in Canada .. the United States .. and all over the world.  Just like the Terry Fox Run today.  In the past, working in the hotel industry, I’ve participated in the run.. not really knowing who Terry Fox is.. except that he had his leg amputated.. and he was raising money .. for a cure for Cancer.  But you see, today i learned that Terry Fox ran thru’ the Atlantic Province, so very near where I currently am right now.  I’m amazed at how little I know..  and how much more general knowledge i am lack of about the world.. and those amazing ppl.  I guess with so many dying lately, I just feel abit nostalgia..??

What a sad year..! earthquake recently.. ! so many famous ppl dying..!! now plane crash in budget airline in Phuket..! i think the worst part is.. those ppl on the plane.. 99% are going on a holiday.. and then to be caught in the middle of some disaster .. as huge as this.. ! some even dead..! I’m sure never in their life.. would they think they would encounter something like that.

I heard the plane broke apart .. and burst into flames..! 66 dead..! what a sin..! and those left behind..??? I’m sure they weren’t expecting that .. a holiday turning into something so awful and tragic.

I find it rather sad.. that Britney Spears the once idolize by every teenager around the world is all so messed up right now. Look at the clothes she has on.. and everything about her.. sure shouts – “has been”. If you look at Paris Hilton’s looks and dressing.. you can see the diff immediately. I find it such a joke .. that nobody seems to remember who Britney is anymore. She is losing custody of her kids to her ex.. and her comeback performance on MTV Video Music Awards was disastrous..! Luckily I never was one who idolises anyone when i was a teen.

Everyone knows all about Black Friday in the United States. I know of someone who actually planned to get all his Christmas shopping done on this day. Black Friday is the day after Thankgiving where major retailers around the country gives special discount to kick off the Christmas shopping season.

Unfortunately, you wouldn’t know what is coming up on sale, till you get flyers in your Thanksgiving Day newspaper, thus making it difficult to plan ahead of time as to what you can get or can hold off till that Black Friday Sale. But no worries now, because 2007 thanksgiving specials is now available thru’ your friendly neighbourhood online network, you can now have the advantage before anyone else, plus they offer a direct link to any products you would like to purchase, without having to stand in line.  And seriously, i wouldn’t even go to store, because it’s a mad, mad place.  Smart people shop online..!

Black-Friday.net will send out email alerts to let you know what’s new.  It’s extremely user friendly, and easy to navigate to buy all your Christmas gift.  I’m so looking forward to buying some Barbie Toys at 30% discount at KB Toys for my daughter and nieces.  I think it is a pretty cool idea, for who has the energy to wake up at 5am to line up for the stores to be opened for business.

A customer came into the store some time back.. someone who owes us a ton of lates (money), a native.. and don’t have to pay taxes in her entire life .. prolly never work a day in her life. And said this to my store manager while walking outta the store… that she doesn’t really care for me (the boss’s wife) much, cause I take God’s name in vain so easily!

This is way too funny..!! i’ve only met this woman once.. and she already know me..??!!!?? know me well enough .. to make such comments.. !!!

Oh .. btw.. i love to exclaim .. and say things like.. “CHRIST..!!” “JESUS CHRIST..!!” as an exclaimation.. not meaning anything.. just an exclamation. Some ppl exclaim by saying.. WTF..!! or WTH..!! so is this better..??? to her..???And i’ll be damn .. if i stop now.. just because someone thinks such of me..!!! especially someone so insignificant .. and NO i don’t take God’s name in vain..!!! I hate ppl who are so righteous.. and ready to judge ppl.. when they don’t know the person.. but who cares wat she thinks of me.. or if she cares of me.. WTF..!!!

I really don’t need to see her face again.. if anything..! my world is way better place with a lesser person .. like her.

I was pretty surprised that Harry Porter film series made more money than James Bond movies. Afterall, James Bond movies have been around.. since i was a kid. But figure shows a $4.47 billion grossed.

Have you seen all the Harry Porter movies yet..?? I haven’t.. and i think i should start.. coz’ lots of blogging mummy said.. i should just watch the movie instead of reading the book. What do you think..??

Body Shop founder, Anita Roddick passed away this week at 64. I just logged into the Body Shop Canada and saw the news. Quite shocking to be honest… and she sure didn’t look like she was 64. Anita Roddick is famous in her own way and of course because of the Body Shop.

Setting up the first Body Shop near her home, and it became so big that in the 1990s, the company was valued at 900 million pounds..! She eventually sold the company to L’Oreal in March 2006, which i just found out.

Reading the articles that she wrote for New Statesman, humbled me and put me to shame for the so little things that I do for others. I, sometimes wonder at those who write and only think of themselves, themselves and themselves. I don’t find it funny nor enjoyable at all. I vow to teach my daughter to be selfless, to be true and to live life to its fullest. What have you taught your kids today thru’ your actions..??

The weather is turning cold rapidly .. and for those who have experienced the winter here in Canada, you will know how cold, winter can get .. and how long it can prolong.

Our basement rooms do not have a fire place, so it can get very cold even when we are at the basement doing laundry for just a while. Therefore, this year we are looking to put in a ventless wall heaters as they are simple and affordable. It can also save us quite abit of money in the heating bill and will serve the purpose of keeping the basement rooms comfortable and warm, thus making it easier to do laundry in the basement. Most of all, besides the savings, a ventless wall heater is also clean, safe and very convenient. My cold laundry days will be over soon.

PB just received a call from someone who donch know. She bought a Gameboy SP from ebay.. and the screen isn’t as bright as she wanted it to be. So she wanted to know if she can bring hers in.. and trade it for one that we have .. at our store.. one that is brighter.

How can ppl be so retarded.. I asked you ..???!!??? in the first place.. she didn’t buy the Gameboy from us.. and now she wants to trade her not so good one for a good one from us..?? I wished i could sometimes shout at this ppl and ask them.. “ARE YOU RETARDED..???”

I donch know about you .. but keeping my eyebrows nice.. and making sure i get a trim every now and then is very important to me. Usually we donch have the luxury of time.. to do so many things.. but last weekend.. we managed to cut our hair.. and i got my eyebrows waxed.. yoohoo..!!

Quite an accomplishment .. if you ask me. I even got Francine to wax my upper lips.. just for the fun of it.. not like i am growing a mustache or anything like that. But it was nice..to do a little to upkeep oneself. Next to find time to go for a manicure.

We went shopping today after work.. and since it was quite leisurely these days.. .no hurry.. i managed.. to walk into Carlton Card.. and Coles the bookstore.. before doing groceries.

You know.. you’ve gotta admire these manufacturers.. who comes up with all sorts. .for all occasion. We saw loads of Halloween stuff at Carlton cards.. and was really tempted to buy something but we know .. Chloe would be frightened by it .. so we didn’t. I wished i could show all of you .. what’s in store.. for Halloween at the stores.. because it’s really amazing.

What are you doing for Halloween..?? Let me know ya.. ! this year is going to be the first year Chloe is going for trick and treating.. with Keegan. We already booked Keegan for that.

Winter is here hard here because it gets really cold and here in Canada.. winter can be as long as 6 months for us. That means that you have to keep your heater on .. during these cold days. Having the heater on, means either having to pay huge bills for electricity or even oil to keep your oil tank filled.

In trying to lower our heating costs, one can look into getting space heaters for that purpose. This christmas we are thinking of getting my brother-in-law, Richard a unique tower design heater, ideal for small space, because during the winter, he is going to be staying in his old room of my in-laws house. Since he hasn’t got proper heat in that room, i think it would be the perfect christmas gift to keep him warm.
