London Fire Brigade’s chemical response team was called because of strong smell from a restaurant in London’s Soho district. Fearing terrorism folks were evacuated, roads were closed and they even sealed off several premises to look for the source of it.

They smashed down the door of the Thai Cottage restaurant and seized extra-hot bird’s eye chilies which had been left dry-frying. They were preparing a spicy thai dip call Nam Prik Pao.

I guess I too, need to be careful when i cook Sambal or any strong chilli now. Afterall, in this day and age, anything can trigger the squads to come down and raid your place.. .when it comes to terrorism.

So yes… the town is having a meeting this Thursday. I can’t wait to see what kinda joke.. they are up to .. to be honest. The agenda is posted.. on the town’s website and the meeting is at 7.30pm. But be early .. because you might not get a seat.. if you are late. A presentation by Rod Hemeon is on the agenda, I can’t wait to see if the councils are going to call the cops again .. on him, because if they are.. that means.. this town is definitely ruled by its own.. and not for the good of the people. They just want to do things.. the way they want.

I never played paintball before because it wasn’t popular back in Asia but over here in Canada, it’s a game that even my teenage nephew and his friends plays on a weekly basis throughout the year, well except for winter. Sure there were things I wasn’t particularly happy about .. when he was in power.. but he is sick now.. so he is only human.. and all humans are flawed.. well.. ! except my mum.. who thinks she never sin.. muahahha!!

Taking care of one’s skin isn’t vanity at all, it is what i call .. valuing oneself enough to want to look and feel good. I don’t buy alot of cosmetics.. but for skin care products ,I will not hesitate to spend money on .. because having a glowing skin is what is most important. If you really take care of your skin, you don’t even need cosmetics at all. The al natural look is for me anytime of the day .. and year.

Over the weekend.. we heard from reliable sources.. that my competitor the neighbour got served with papers from good ole Microsoft for infringement of copyright. Yah.. we knew the neighbour was burning movies .. and games.. and whatnots.. but didn’t know .. he was putting in operating system for the computers that he sold.

In the 8 yrs of business.. PB and I are real cowards.. we would and could never do things.. that was against the law. After having Chloe.. we are even more paranoid.. because we didn’t want to land up against the law.. and leave Chloe without any care.. should something happen. We are very careful with what we do.. and even then.. we sometimes get one or two stolen goods in our store.. from ppl who comes in to sell them. No matter what precaution we take.. with buying and trading.. we still get the slip once in a blue moon. And that sends me flying off the edge.

I seriously salute my neighbour.. and a place that had already closed down .. the Circuits.. for being so brave to do unlawful stuff. For PB and I wouldn’t be able to sleep at nite.. wondering which nite.. will our home and store get raided… if we did. Nah.. no way.. we are gonna put ourselves in this position.

With 1001 tools, bolts, nuts, screws.. you tell me.. if i need a storage bins. Yes.. the man needs help in this area.. .and what better thing to buy him for this christmas and get some organization in our messy garage done. No more excuses the man no more..! Hahah!!

I’m also going to need some storage bins for my brat’s toys as well! they are such a headache to look at.

If ever I am without a digital camera, I would be so lost and feel totally not equipped at all. Yes.. i’ve loved taking pictures for the longest time and ever since we bought a digital camera after our daughter is born, you can imagine the amount of snapping I’ve done. It acts as a device to save all my happy memories and an eye for the people I love back home. Without the digital camera.. i cannot convey my life in Canada to them.

It’s not uncommon for folks, especially stay-at-home-moms to want a home based business for any extra income to the family and household is great. Plus it also makes one useful .. and have buying and spending power, if you make your own money. I know so, because even though i go into my husband’s store everyday.. to help him with business, it is not the same as earning your own money.

I assure you that every women should and must have their own ways and means of making money even if they are staying home with their kids. A home based business can be fun and need not take up alot of your time and can be very rewarding. I feel alot more useful and confident after making my own money on the side.

I almost feel bad for this customer of ours.. who can never keep a decent gal.. or a decent relationship. All the relationships he ever had.. always ended up naught. And I tell ya.. in my 7 yrs here.. my goodness.. he has had long distance relationship.. relationship with older than him woman .. relationship with woman with 3 kids.. relationship with a student.. relationship with someone across the country .. and even sending money for her to come visit.

Every year .. you hear him being hopeful and all.. and in the end.. after meeting up .. or sometimes not even meeting up.. it ends.. abruptly. It just too sad..! So is he unromantic..?? Is he not good looking enough..?? Not making enough money..?? I almost expects it to happen.. everytime he is in a new relationship.

PB is and still is a very unromantic person.. according to my standard.. but why did i fall in love with him.. and stayed long-distance for 6 yrs.. and with him for another 7 yrs. So is it the romantic factor in a relationship that matters..?? or what is it .. that keeps ppl together.. and plan a life together…??

PB & I have always advocate charity work and giving back to the community if we can, recently we visited an old folks home and we really want to applaud the caregivers there. Not only were they caring and kind, they really went out of their way to make them comfortable when taking care of them.  We noticed that they are lack of some healthcare cart in this home, so for this Christmas, we will be doing a few to this old folks home, to make the jobs of these caregivers a little easier and convenient.
