Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The joy of owning your own business is .. you get to upgrade your toys pretty often.. if you so want to. A week or so ago.. someone came in hard up for money… and wanted like $100 for this set of 5.1 speakers. If new it should be a couple of hundred bucks.. so seeing that he was so hard up .. PB bought it.. and kept this for himself.. and got his old one on sale.. at the store.

Auto Loan Finder

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

Christmas is just round the corner and everyone needs to spend some extra money for the festive season, be it for presents, or for giving out bonuses to the employees, or year end party and clothings for the kids.

As a parent, I know we try to give or spend what is necessary for the kids first.. and then on our extended family .. then ourselves last. But life sometimes does throws us a curve ball here and there, for example an expenditure that we least expect.. like a car break down.. or a need for a complete overhaul on the car. Surely no one wants to go out and spend $25K on a car .. just because, well unless you were Johnny Depp or his kind.

Auto Loans for folks that needs it immediately or even those that has bad credit, is offered at Auto Finder. These folks are here to help you and get you connected with national car dealers in your area and of course to get you the money for your car. And since they work with hundreds of banks and lenders, even if you did declare bankruptcy in the past, they are willing to assist you.

Of course, they have to take into consideration, your current ability to pay the loan back and your length of employment, but unlike out lenders, they don’t dwell so much in your past but moreso in your present. So if you are ready for a new start .. and want to build up your credit again, check them out.

Town Not Surviving For Business

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

“Rodd Hotels and Resorts is for sale. Family spokesperson Christina Rodd says it was a difficult decision. She says they are confident they can find a new owner. Rodd Hotels and Resorts is Atlantic Canada’s largest privately owned accommodations chain. They operate ten hotels and resorts, including the Rodd Grand Hotel and the Rodd Colony Harbour Inn in Yarmouth.”

I guess it has to tell you all.. what this town is all about now. Even hotel chain are not surviving here.. but yet the town would prefer to spend millions of dollars just to sit 13 ppl in the council. Very sad..!! very sad..!! I hope someone from Asia .. buys the hotel.. to be honest. ! maybe we can have some decent Asian food.. and new jobs for the people who wants to work.. and maybe.. a bigger authority to tell these ppl that they are not God afterall.

Weather For Trip

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

weather3.jpg

The weather was still holding good for the weekend.. and we were so hoping.. for what was forecast but like all weather forecast, it wasn’t accurate.. so we ended up only having one good day.. and the rest of the days were sucky.  On top of it.. it was raining big time when we were coming home .. making it really dangerous .. for us to drive.  Plus the nite we arrived in Halifax.. my mother-in-law came online to tell us that there was an accident on Highway 101 .. the route we took up to Halifax.  Scary eh..!

Virtual Ventures Games

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

Not many of us are brave enough to invest our hard-earned money onto something that we are not 200% sure, so it can be fun to play the investor role virtually, and see for yourself, how sharp you are when it comes to investing. And perhaps by practicing here, you might just learn a thing or two.. with the real investing.

Virtual Ventures is not only a fun and interactive game, this game is as real as you can get .. with being an investor, because your input and your evaluation can help determine which technologies becomes actual products. Not everyone gets a chance to have a go with technologies developed by the Fortune 500 companies.

I’ll have to say it was pretty interesting and easy to play. Investing a million virtual dollars, is no easy feat. Before investing, you will have to read up about the the software and after investing, you can share your opinion or comment on it. You get a virtual portfolio that tracks your investment in the next few weeks, and you can even make connections with other people who are in this virtual investment like you are and of course share your feedback and what you think. So if you are good at predicting whether a company would succeed or fail, you would love a hand on this game.

I invested on a game.. since my spouse is a gamer.. and owning a gaming store makes me sure that gaming is something that would definitely sell. A gamer never could resist a good game.. and they would pay top dollars for it, on top of what I’ve just said.. there are the expansion packs..that the developer or the company can continue to entice the gamer/s ..and keep them interested and coming back for more. There is just no end to a gaming software.

And frankly speaking virtual ventures is just about for anyone and everyone. Even my father-in-law found it interesting .. to see if he could learn more about investing on this website. Signing up is absolutely free.. and don’t forget to tell your friends and your family about it. Your opinion is just as important to us as it is to yourself. If you are a genius in this area.. you will have loads of fun.

Visiting Gary

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

Visiting Gary was one of the highlights for our trip up to the city. Unfortunately, the brat wasn’t that comfy. .and after a very short visit.. we left. I had so wanted to keep him company a wee bit longer.. but nope.. the brat wouldn’t have it.

We donch really know what is wrong with Gary yet.. he doesn’t either. But i know he is sure getting bored up in the hospital in Halifax. He is currently given a weekend pass.. from the doctors .. and will be home for the weekend. PB even offered to pick him up from his home.. to the store.. instead of letting him walk. I really hope he gets well soon. Seeing Gary like this.. makes me wanna shout out to everyone to take care of their health. It is so important..!

Finding a Electrical Shop

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

It is really hard to find a good electrical repair shop in town, so should you need your power supply repair you can expect, to pay big time for it. For those who wants to find a quote or a no charge evaluation in this town, it is almost impossible. I heard that as soon as they check your damages, they will start charging.

Handy Men Are Messy Men

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

As much as I love the man to be handy in everything.. you should see our garage. Yes.. messy is not even the word to use .. it’s an understatement when it comes to describing my garage and my basement. For men like these.. you know you should be getting them tool storage for their Christmas present, maybe they would get the hint this year.

Awkwardly Freaky

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

It has become one of those things.. that makes me awkwardly freaky.. when i see boyfriend and ex-b/f becoming friends.. or ex-g/f and present g/f becoming friends.. after dissing and badmouthing each other so bad. Sometimes.. you just gotta wonder.. what is going on in their mind..??

Therefore, in our kinda business.. we just have to stay neutral.. and try not to get involved.. or give any opinion. I just have to learn how to keep my mouth shut instead of showing sympathy these days.

Musicals

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

The man thinks i love arty farty stuff.. and considers ..High School Musical tickets one of those. Now what he doesn’t know is that these musicals are really very nice and he too might love it. Unfortunately, he wouldn’t go with me… so i’ll have to get a friend to accompany me, else it would just be wasting good money .. on a cow.  Like my mum used to say..  playing the violin to the cow wouldn’t make the cow appreciate it.

Dumping Day Delayed

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

Because of the weather.. dumping day has been pushed to Thursday .. instead of yesterday. I wonder if the school is gonna closed on Thursday.. because of it. Another excuse to keep the lazy teachers lazy.. and lazy students lazy.

Marine had forecast that there were gonna be strong to gale force winds, coupled with high tide, so I’ll have to say the decision might have saved life. Fishermen were tempted to go out the following day to start hauling their catches.

I’m surprised that they made this decision.. because I’ve seen them going out on worst weathers.

Donch You Get Tired..??

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Alot has been going on in the blogosphere since the Big Boys wants to play nasty. But of course besides that.. we have some “pro” bloggers.. who are giving their opinions on a daily basis. Some of course .. are great .. but some just goes on.. and on.. and on.. and then one day .. they change from one opinion to another… thus making it more confusing.. and it’s making me wanna puke.

My advice is.. not to listen or read too much.. just what you do best.. and that is to write with a heart.. and be passionate about it. There is too much theory out there.. and really there is no need to feed the egos of the “pro” bloggers.. or should i say .. wanna-bes. I donch believe in yakking too much.. action speaks louder than words for me. What about you ..?? are you an empty vessel ..??

Investing In Properties

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Renting a house or an apartment is popular here in the West. But I tell everyone that with renting, you are only helping and supporting your landlord pay for the house. With a few hundred dollars more, you can be investing on something that you can call your own in the future. Arizona real estate can help folks who are buying their home for the first time, with the right advice and the right house to fit your budget. They are folks who understands that a home is more than a house and whether you are selling or buying, they are able to assist you and go beyond.

Migrating Is No Fun – Part 7

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

cartoon02.jpg

So love is blind..! no marriage.. no worries.. you still hang on.. but is he hanging on to you too..?? Yes.. life has it ups and downs.. and if you are thinking of migrating.. do it with your eyes open..and be prepared .. to work it out.. because not only are you gonna miss home.. you are gonna hate the weather.. if you are like me in Canada.. whereby Winter is 6 months long. Do not come thinking .. you will have 10 maids serving you .. or that your man is rich..! most likely .. he is just like anyone working their asses like back home. The honeymoon ends here.

House Hunting

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

House Hunting must be the most exciting thing for a newly married couple like my cousin. But I told them that the right real estate company is very important and told them they have to choose a good and reputable one. I’ve had some that were only too keen to sell you the house.. and not really looking out for your needs… and having been through buying our first home, we don’t want them to make the same mistakes as us. Working with the professionals will only make your house hunting a very happy and non-stressful one.

Clots

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

I have been in alot of pain for the last few days.. because of my menses and fibroids added together.. and yes.. was a total B.I.T.CH to PB of course. The brat doesn’t really get the brunt of things because i wouldn’t wanna frighten her in anyways if possible.

I couldn’t really figured out why this month it was more painful than the previous month.. because i was popping painkillers like i never did before. But donch get me wrong.. when i said.. i was popping painkillers.. it means . .i have it more than once a day.. maybe only twice.. for i never liked to take medication if i can helped it. Even when i had my c-section.. i didn’t take any.. until the doctors had to force me to.

Anyways.. this afternoon at the store.. my blood clots came out.. big time.. that i had to go home.. and change.. instead of having free time at the store. I told PB .. he should actually see how much clots i have.. to be able to understand.. why i turn into a BITCH every month.. when i am in pain… muahahhaha!! yah.. trying to justify myself.. again. Yer know.. i never, never had this problem before.. till after having Chloe. Does anyone have this major changes in their cycle after having kids..?? because i know my mum did.

Shopping For Mortgages

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

While others are looking into new mortgages, I’m looking into adverse credit remortgages, since we were told by our bank that our mortgage rate is going to be increased. And the only way to get the lowest rate was to lock us in for 5 yrs. Frankly speaking, we are already paying alot per month, so we are not too keen with the new rate at all.

Many a times as a first time owner, we actually enter a contract for our mortgages, without really looking into other factors and the fine lines in between. We jumped into the first bank that would offer us money. Cheap mortgages are out there if you look and do your research work properly. Don’t be like us, and go into a deal, that might cost you more in the future.

Heading Home

Monday, November 26th, 2007

We are heading home later today..! even though i would miss the city.. for the shopping, food.. and the convenience.. nothing beats going home..! i can’t wait to get home.. truth be told..!

Doing more shopping, eating japanese, and then we will be heading home. I think I am more excited going home.. then coming here. What happened to the frequent traveller in me..?? Motherhood sure changes alot of things.
