No medical insurance! no work..!! every penny you need, comes from THE MAN..! Yes..!! wanna buy panties.. also gotta be shy, shy ..!!! cannot buy jewellery no more..!! cannot buy handbags.. at your whim and fancy..!! And then you wait.. for your PR .. to be approved.. which can take.. ages..!!! And then you found out, you are pregnant..!!!!!! now all the questions.. with the WHAT IFS.. comes out..?? Worst..!! you miss home.. and you miss the food from home.. and cravings are building up..!!

    MB, but techically, if you apply the PR and wait in singapore for 6 months till they do the PR and then come to Canada. then get your SIN, you can work already. I think u did it the same way i did it, we applied in msia, but since Frank’s msian visa expire already so he had to leave and we didnt want to be apart, so i left on a tourist visa and came back to msia 6 months later to pick up the visa. i feel glad we went that route cause when i went back msia, i knew what to shop for and blessing was i was pregnant with avarayna then and really stuff my face with cravings.

    I miss all your entry about “Migrating, I really thought something is going wrong with you, I search all of your previous entry prior saying anything, and to understand the story better, this topic you are just trying to hint other who are thinking of married a foreigners,,phew..! I am glad you are ok.

    I guess I am a bit fortunate, I migranted here with my family, found a job, work and met my husband.
    Yer, I agree, I miss my eldest sister and brother who still in Malaysia ( a lot), also my old good buddies and lots of the home food too, but Calgary is quite a city to find most of the food you like, but good Malaysian home food is hard to find over here, so, whenever I visit Vancouver, I eat like a horse..
