An Intriguing Tale Of Being An Owner

“A British teacher who was jailed in Sudan for allowing her students to name a teddy bear Muhammad has been released to British authorities. Gillian Gibbons, who received a presidential pardon and will be deported, says she didn’t intend any offence. Some Sudanese demanded her execution for what was perceived as an insult to Islam.”

I have been following the above news . .for a few days now… and of course I was appalled at what ppl would do in the name of God..!! Seriously, I can’t imagine God wanting anyone killed or executed for any reason.  And this was a misunderstanding.. that’s for sure.. and seriously I pity Gillian Gibbons..! i’m sure she is now so shocked.. she wouldn’t wanna be near anything or any word related or associated to the word..  “Muslims” .. or “Mohammad”..! and I donch blame her for it.

Yes.. the awful snow is here..!! it was snowing real hard.. when I first got up at 8am.. this morning..! You should see the amount of snow accumulated at our house.. i didn’t think the car would be able to get thru’. It isn’t as cold as yesterday.. but PB and my MIL thinks that I freak out each time some snow drops… but it is actually the blowing that i donch like. I know elsewhere in Canada.. they are experiencing worst, so i guess I should be thankful.

This town has gotta have the stupidest people ever..! now they wanna go spend a third of a million bucks to build a Mega Yacht Dock! Apparently some ppl are VERY excited about it..!! Over the years.. only a few had docked in Yarmouth.. and yet they feel that they can justify this expense..??

The continued to say .. that when these luxury yacht was in town.. they bought the entire stock of fresh flowers from a local florist here.. but FAILED to mention.. that the florist closed it doors.. last year before Christmas..! So what good did it do..?? for the florist..??

It is BIG BUSINESS .. they said..!! Apparently .. the owners donch sail in their yacht.. they fly in to join the yacht..!! BUT WE HAVE NO AIRPORT HERE..! DUMBS, DUMBS..!!! Well, we have an airport.. just NO PLANES..!! BODOH BETUL…!!!!!

Saying this town has got very interesting ppl is actually an understatement. We have gotten some visits from a few old customers of late.. and realized that they had been giving business to the other video store down the road. Apparently, they were quite close to one of the owners of the store… but since he was “oust” out.. recently.. they decided not to give business to that video store no more.. because they prolly think the world of the other owner.

Well.. they each have a story to tell us.. and it’s along the lines. .where they can’t stand the other owner.. and one even said.. the other owner was “banging” the girl who worked for him. Muahhahhaha!! What a town..!! and i am pretty sure.. it’s not true.. but they were sure adamant about that though.
