New Venture

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

Many months ago, I’ve spoken to some bloggers about this big and new venture that the store and us are getting ourselves into. We had to wait for the patent to be in place .. and the lawyers to finish working on it.. before we dare announced anything. So here it is.. we’ve been given the go-ahead.. with Singapore market only .. for now.. hoping to get all of Asia really soon.

We are officially authorised to distribute Neptune’s Balance, a totally organic and ammonia free general purpose cleaner. All natural and totally safe for children and your pets. After Christmas, you will see us promoting it on a larger scale.

Repair Your Credit

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

There are customer/s that I know who have bad credit and can never get a loan from just about anyone in the banking or financial institution. Many a times, we can try applying for a loan through our local credit union when they need a computer or even a printer. But alot of times, we see credit union declining the application.

I recommend for people like them to apply for Credit Cards For People With Bad Credit because how else can one repair their credit.. when you cannot start somewhere.. or get any help. Having bad credit is not the end of the world, but it sure makes alot harder to try and build an asset for you and your family.  Consider carefully the credit card that will suit you best and apply online easily.  Of course, this time, try not to mess it up.

Cleaning House

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

My cleaning lady came on last Thursday to clean my house. She came alone this trip and had mentioned that she didn’t have a job from 10am (our problem ka..?). A minimum of 3hrs was the deal with her.. but at 1.30pm.. she called the store .. that she would be done in 20 mins… she started at noon.

I didn’t really care .. if all the work was done.. but once again.. the Xbox ..was messed up after she left. We had told her not to clean around the xbox .. because it was pretty sensitive. I had instructed her not to do my dishes.. but she did. The sink was choked when I came home.. i had no idea why. On top of everything.. the inside of the coffee table wasn’t vacuumed… muahahhaha!! So ya.. it was like we paid an extra hour.. for nothing.. plus .. she was in a hurry to leave.. because the person picking up her kid .. wasn’t able to.

So I guess.. i prolly need to do the cleaning myself from now on.. bummer..! Oh btw.. my cleaning lady donch clear the garbage bags in their individual rooms or the bathroom.

A Recourse..??

“Your council members have been sneaky and underhanded.”

Nope.. i didn’t say this.. donch sue me. But it does look like they are still ignoring what the majority of the residents are saying.

Cheryl Burchell suggested in the local papers that every tax payer should not pay taxes.. and i cannot agree with her more. It almost seems like the town councils thinks that it is not the tax payer’s money they are spending .. and more like a private whim and fancy project of theirs. The council members have no respect for its people .. as far as I can see it.. and if you are not living in town.. and you feel this does not affect you .. THINK AGAIN..!

It is just very sad.. that no one is out there.. VOICING LOUDLY..!! and take action ..!

America’s Best Colleges

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

I’ve always wanted to upgrade myself, get a better degree. But of course life doesn’t always want to do what you planned. For me, I got pregnant and moved to Canada. But now that my child is older, it is time for me to re-think my priorities.

I envy my girlfriends, who are such go-getters and keep upgrading themselves every year. If they can do it, I am sure I can. Enrolling in capella university may be the way for me because I can go online to a course room at anytime of the day/nite. The flexibility of able able to attend class at anytime I so chooses, will make it easy for me as I still have to take care of my child. A 13hrs per week per course, which actually means on average, I only needs like 2 hours a day and I can do it wherever there is an internet connection. It can be lunch time or when my child is taking a nap.

The software program that Capella University uses is user friendly, that even the most challenged on the internet will be able to use it with no hassle. Capella University provides a large range of courses to choose from. Since they accept new students on a monthly basis, it is easy for me to to enroll in any course i am interested in.

Next very important question for me is Financing..?? For those residing in the States, and/or a US citizen, there are financial aid to support your education. Ain’t they lucky now..?? I think it is worth checking it out!

Going Green This Christmas

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

Santa is gonna be real busy fishing out green gifts.. like shoveling snow for folks around town eh..? Encouraged to go green this Christmas, instead of wrapping gifts.. one should offer the neighbours to clean their porch or shovel for them. I think it is a great way.. to teach the kids …. that not everything has to do with money .. and the “me” attitude. Good to start them young about saving the earth and thinking for the less fortunate.

Hilary Running for Democratic Presidential Nomination

I didn’t think Hilary Clinton was running this year. See how behind times I am .. of current news..! Ya.. i’m a slacker..! Looks like Hilary Clinton is a long way from winning though, barely hanging in there. Looks like folks thinks that she cannot be trusted.

Keeping an appearance of a busy schedule, Hilary is trying to show that she hasn’t gone to Washington, so she doesn’t hurt her chances in her race. It would be nice to watch, what will happen this year.

Finding a Home

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

Moving or relocating is never easy. If you have a family, you have to think for them as well .. plus the process of finding the right and best apartment or house for them is not really the easiest, if i may say. Locality is also very important if you have kids, for they need to attend school and you want them to attend a reputable school .. and be in the right neighborhood with the right kind of friends. Yes.. alot to take into consideration and alot of planning is needed.

Fortunately, you can now, use City Cribs a Real Estate agency to help you find your ideal apartment or home. Be it for rental or for sale, they have a list of properties on hand for your viewing. The site is easy to navigate, plus you get to view the picture of your potential house/apartment, that would give you an idea for furnishing and the size of rooms.

There is absolutely no crazy sign ups to use this service, and what’s best for users like you and I is you get to communicate with the realtor directly for scheduling a viewing, no playing phone tag, or merry-go-round. Pretty simple and of ease .. I’ll have to say… and one really don’t need anymore complication. You can opt for email alerts or you can visit the website fo fresh properties everyday.

Short Days For Students

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

The school takes the slightest weather changes.. to either dismiss the students early .. or just not have school.. during winter. So if you donch know by now.. in Canada.. during bad weather.. even though we open store daily .. last year.. despite all the snow.. the school closed each time, they hear some wind blowing or flurries.

In Singapore, I’ve never had a day.. where we didn’t have to attend school due to floods.. or the teachers wanted a meeting or to mark the books. They call it the “in-service” here. No wonder Asian students excel in the Western schools.. all the time.
