I’m Not His Wife
PB said.. that after 4 yrs. .my I’m not His Wife joke is getting stale. But do you know that sometimes.. it is easier to say that.. then to deal with salesman.. who tries to push stuff to me.. just because the boss isn’t around..??
And it’s always easier to say that.. because.. if they want to do a survey.. like the internet company or the credit card company, or even the customer.. wanting me to make a decision .. because the boss isn’t around.. and try to con me to part with money.. the easiest thing to say is.. “I’m Not His Wife, I’m just the p/time g/f…” ! that kinda stunt them for abit.. and set them abit back.. from the aggressive sales talk or the pushy ways.

oh totally, i’ve done this a lot too esp those pesky ppl calling to tell credit cards. i’ve taken many role too like i am the babysitter and nanny. and the best part when i see ppl trying to get me to sign up to credit cards at airports or malls down in Toronto, i just say i dont live in Canada. they run away fast!

yes i know. i get heaps of phone calls on asking us to switch to this company or that, i will always spin the story that hubby takes care of it, so he may cop it later, i don’t care, haha, just because he can be very rude to them. i somehow am very nice, hehe.
