“An elderly Yarmouth woman was shaken-up but not injured after theives ran off with a Salvation Army kettle. The incident happened yesterday afternoon at the Yarmouth Mall. Police arrested two suspects, a man and a male youth, a short time later. R-C-M-P Constable Hugh Martin says it appears the woman was distracted while the kettle was grabbed. Donations collected in the kettle are used by the Salvation Army to help needy families at Christmas time. The two suspects were released to appear in court in February.”
This was in the local news this morning..! you see what i mean..?? in the mall..!! broad daylight..!! this is happening..?? so you tell me.. what am i to think..?? and do honest folks like us need to fear.. ALOT.. ?? And they are released..?? not in remand..?? How safe are you..?? or your properties..?? or the old ladies in the mall..?? One gotta wonder what is the town councillers view on this..?? Nah.. doubt they would be thinking of helping or doing something about it.. as long as they can get to see in their beautiful new municipality building.. with modern heating.. child care services and a gym.
