My Christmas tradition is to add on ornaments onto my tree every year. Every year i choose a new theme to add on.. whether it is crystal, or pink or blue.. or clear.. i add onto the tree every year.. so by now.. my tree is really full. In fact, the tree should be full of ribbons.. but they are in the store.. so i have to remember to bring it home. One year.. i bought all ribbons for the tree. I think this year .. i am gonna get those stars.. for the tree. Next year.. i plan to get chocolate santa to put on the tree.. so that Chloe can have one each day.. after Christmas.  What is your Christmas tradition ..?? for your tree..??

Bridgewater fuming over bylaw

Saturday, December 8th, 2007

Bridgewater is about an hour away from where i am currently living. And the town is currently considering a bylaw that would ban smoking on all town property, streets and sidewalks included. Of course the smokers of the town are all mad.. and fuming. But you see this town does not allow the students to smoke in the school compound either.. but what happens is.. they go across the street of the school. .and they still smoke.

The are not allowed to smoke on the sidewalks in this town.. but what happens..?? they smoke away.. and as a matter of factly told me.. that they were there first.. it is their hangout..!! outside Tim Hortons. Yup..!!! that was what they said to me..! So having a no smoking bylaw in Bridgewater.. just isn’t gonna help .. at all.

Speedy Recovery, Gary

Saturday, December 8th, 2007

Gary is still up in Halifax hospital.. and because of the bad weather on Saturday.. we didn’t even get to see him at the store.. when he came back home for the weekend. He started his chemo today.. but I heard they found tumors in his tummy today.

Nope.. it doesn’t sound good at all. In fact, if you ask me. .i’m abit worried. Gary is a good man.. 50 something years old.. and have been a really good friend.. and customer of ours. A fella .. who doesn’t talk to much.. doesn’t gossip.. doesn’t complain whatsoever. Seriously, I think he deserves better.. in terms of job, relationship.. and everything else. He is a very proud man.. and refuses help nor rides from anyone.

I can’t help but feel a wee bit sad.. and heavy hearted. Please say a pray for Gary .. before you turn in tonite. Thanks.

Search For People

Saturday, December 8th, 2007

Searching for someone..? Whether you are searching for someone who enjoys the same movie as you or a movie star or a famous historian or just about anyone. Spock is your answer. I hear you can even search for folks you’ve lost touch with. Spock does make people search easier than it may seems to anyone.

Searching for information on bio pages and social networks and any place they can on the internet for the information you need. And anyone can join to help make searches faster and quicker to find for everyone. But this is not a social network, it’s just a very comprehensive search engine for people, all you have to do is to look for the person you want and you’ll find them on Spock, Spock.com – The Best Way to Search People

I grew up with actresses like Brigitte Bardot, my mum loves here..! And I haven’t heard alot about her recently. So while I am at Spock, I might as well find out what’s going on with the sex symbol of the 60s. I didn’t know she is already 73 yrs old. Born in Sept 1934, just a year younger than my own mum. And being a french actress and also a former fashion model, i didn’t know she was a singer, known nationalist, animal rights activist, and considered the embodiment of the 1950s and 1960s sex kitten. In the 1970s after her retirement from the entertainment industry, Bardot established herself as an animal rights activist, which she continues today. During the 1990s she was outspoken about her political views on such issues as immigration, Islam in France, miscegenation, and homosexuality. She is a sympathizer with the far right. Amazing woman I’ll have to say…!! Nope she didn’t disappoint.. i’ll have to say. For those who would like to find out more about this sex symbol of the 50s – 60s, check this out http://www.spock.com/Brigitte-Bardot.

Custom Ceremic Chips

Saturday, December 8th, 2007

My uncle used to have poker sessions weekly with his buddies… and after turning the grandmother cottage into his private club house, one can see that he was really into making the place as his very own entertainment/recreation joint or hang out as his buddies like to say. I guess it is his way of enjoying his bachelorhood..?

Anyhow, since Christmas is round the corner, what do you buy for someone who has everything..and has more money than yourself. Afterall, he doesn’t have to pay for mortgage, nor a girlfriend to spend his money for him. Besides the truck that he cannot seems to part with and keeps modifying it, the other most important thing and pride of his life is his hangout.. his recreational room.

So we figured since he loves poker that much .. and plays every week, why not get him a Custom Ceramic Poker Chips. Not only is that a unique gift, it sure shows that we care enough to know what he likes best. Have you own design that you think he might design put onto the custom chips, to bring out his unique personality or show of his club house. Each chip is made by hand and you can either choose to display your own imagine or one that their designers come up for you. The chips are all custom with full color graphics and won’t disappoint.
