It gets absolutely troublesome everyday… just to think of what to eat. There isn’t much i tell ya.. so what happens is.. I end up cooking a storm.. after the brat goes to bed.. so that we can bring food for her.. and us.. that way we never have to argue about what to eat.. and feel really upset.. because i can’t get the food i want.. like back home. Plus the weather is absolutely cold.. so i rarely wanna walked outta the store.. to get anything. Imagine .. having to dress up . .with sweater .. coat.. scarf.. gloves.. and torque.. just to walk 3 mins.. and get coffee and come right back. Yup..! not worth it.

I really don’t know how much you know about people who have a Drug Abuse problem, but I can tell you from experience as a business owner in a small town, it is definitely not a pretty sight. I have people coming into our store, selling just about anything to get a fix and they would even sell the shirt on their back if you say, you would take it.

Any kind of addiction is bad, it hurts the family that can’t seems to do anything, therefore a good drug rehab is what we need here in this small town. You sometimes wonder why people get themselves into this kinda trouble and really .. is it the upbringing of that person..?? or is it the people he hangs out with..?? I think the society needs to play a very active role is stopping drug addiction and since we don’t have one that is apt, one should choose carefully one that meets the individual needs.

As a young kid, we have often not return our movies the next day .. and even then chinese tvb series were like $2 a tape .. VHS, but of course we are never later than 3 days. At our store, we rent new releases at $3 a day – DVDs but the last 8 yrs saw us losing loads of money because of some very dishonest customers who either never intended to return our DVDs and games or some rent them, so that they can go on the streets to sell them… for a few bucks more. In the event, where they cannot sell it, they would rather dump it than to return them to us. Because of all these errant customers, others are affected because they do not get to see the movie at all.

The one of the many things that I cannot understand is .. with so much money on hand for so many other things, why is no one ..willing to seriously get the airport up and running again. Yes.. we have an airport in Y-town.. but no airline would come this way.. for a few years now. I don’t know the exact reason/s for it but how can that be good for tourism.. when the only way people can come by this town is a 4 hrs drive away.. and a boat from Maine or St Johns.

Just the other day, the province announced that it was giving the airport $250K. Woohoo..!!! alot of money for the airport..?? i would say.. ! if they were only used to hire on a business development officer and towards meetings and entertaining .. while meeting with airline carriers. You see why I don’t wanna have anything to do with the town..!
