Airport Richer..??
The one of the many things that I cannot understand is .. with so much money on hand for so many other things, why is no one ..willing to seriously get the airport up and running again. Yes.. we have an airport in Y-town.. but no airline would come this way.. for a few years now. I don’t know the exact reason/s for it but how can that be good for tourism.. when the only way people can come by this town is a 4 hrs drive away.. and a boat from Maine or St Johns.
Just the other day, the province announced that it was giving the airport $250K. Woohoo..!!! alot of money for the airport..?? i would say.. ! if they were only used to hire on a business development officer and towards meetings and entertaining .. while meeting with airline carriers. You see why I don’t wanna have anything to do with the town..!
