An Intriguing Tale Of Being An Owner

The kids in Canada are encouraged to get summer jobs.. and like our babysitter.. she started working for us as a babysitter.. and a year later.. she also worked in the store for us.  Of course.. not everyone is as lucky as her.. to get 2 jobs with the same employer or should we say “unlucky” .. muahhaha!!!  but some kids are really good .. they would go door to door to sell you stuff.. even acne treatment.  And you really gotta take your hats off to these kids, they are so determined to make some money for when they go back to school.  Although, they really spend all their money on clothings.. and shoes.

I donch even know how many times.. i have to tell those ppl who wants to sell stuff to our store.. that they have to bring it down for us to see .. before we can offer them a price.  They call ALL THE TIME…!!!  and asked how much we would pay for a game.. or a system.  How am i gonna tell you .. when i donch see the product.  Plus .. when they say .. ohhhh.. it’s only a month old.. i only played it a few times.. can actually turned out to be a beat up machine.. that donch work right.  *sigh*

In business for a good 9 yrs in a few weeks.. you kinda know what works.. and what doesn’t.  But of course with every mistake we make.. we lose a little money.. but we smarten up really quick too.  One of the things we learned when doing business is never jump into ordering the customer something.. without getting at least half of what the price will be.  Else you will risked having to fork out money from your own pocket for the plasma stand we had ordered for a customer a long time ago.

I don’t know if you know this .. but in the town that i lived in .. there are lots of cow.. and me being a city gal.. and haven’t seen alot of cows.. used to go ga-ga over them.. whenever we drive to the country .. where my in law’s lived.  Over the years.. i cannot helped but realised that because of the massive amount of land.. that we can buy cheaply in Canada.. rearing cows.. is one of the best thing anyone can go into .. albeit the mad cow disease.  Or if not selling cattle supplies must be just as lucrative no..??
