Respect Your Boss
Thursday, December 4th, 2008When you are young and crazy .. like I had been.. and without kids.. or saggy boobs.. you think you own the world. You also think that you know everything.. and if your boss were to reprimand you .. it’s his/her fault.. or that he/she is against you. Well.. i’ll let you in on a secret. Many years ago.. i thought the same way too. Most of my bosses were from US or from Spain or Greece… and I’ve always thought.. my bosses were kinda crazy.
But guess what..?? many years later.. helping my spouse with his business.. i know exactly where my bosses were coming from.. and I’m ashamed to say.. that i might just have been too bull headed and blinded by pride to have a good thing going.. and blew it.
Surely .. no one wants to be pointed out as wrong.. or no one wants to be told.. to do stuff.. and no one wants to go to work.. and we all still wants to get paid. We want to chat with our b/fs.. or our kids.. or run out during our own emergency .. irregardless of your own obligation to your company or your boss. Afterall, our kids comes first right..?? well.. wait till you own your own business like i do.. then you will know.. that you cannot be further from being right.
All i can say is.. RESPECT YOUR BOSSES.. because they really know what they are talking about.. and they really been places.. before they go into the position they are in now.
